What is the Abandoned Cart App?

The Abandoned Cart app is an in-built application on Kwikcart that allows you to follow up on the customers who abandoned their carts at the checkout. You can send them emails or messages urging them to complete the purchase thereby increasing your conversion percentage.

To use this option, you need to configure some settings. Let’s get to that.

Steps to Setup and Configure Abandoned Cart App on Kwikcart

There are a few simple steps that you need to follow-

1. Go to the “Apps” option in the dashboard.

2. You’ll be directed to a page where you can see multiple applications. On this page, find the “Abandoned Cart” app and click on the “Configure” button below it.

3. You’ll be directed to a page where you can set abandoned cart templates. There are three options - Emails, SMS, and WhatsApp. When on the Email tab, click on the “New Email Template” option.

4. You’ll be directed to a page where you can set up a new email template. On this page, enable the activate template now and start filling out the template form. You’ll be required to enter the template name, email subject, and email body, and select the period within which the email has to be sent.

You can also select a coupon to be sent with the email.

5. Once done, click on the “Create Template” button at the bottom.

You can follow the same steps to create SMS and WhatsApp templates as well. However, you’ll have to integrate these options using the integration features provided within the application. 

Once you have created the templates, you can activate or deactivate them from the list of templates as shown below.

You also have the option to edit, clone, or delete the templates. Moreover, you can check the results coming from the templates in terms of how many orders were completed after the email/SMS/WhatsApp text was sent by clicking on the Reports option.
