When you’re running an eCommerce store, you cannot do with only an admin panel. You need to provide a login id and dashboard to your customers as well so that they can track their orders and check the records of their shopping history with your store whenever they need to.

This will require the creation of a customer sign-up/log-in through which they can access an intuitive dashboard that’s easy to understand and use.

How to Use the Customer System on Kwikcart?

It’s very easy to use the customer system on Kwikcart. As already mentioned, the platform has in-built sign-up and log-in pages as well as a dashboard that you can customize as per your brand requirements.

All you need to do is go to the “All Pages” option, search for the in-built customer system pages, and click on the edit buttons for the respective pages to customize them.

Now that you know how to customize the customer system pages, let’s understand each of them one after the other.

Customer Sign-Up Page

This page allows the customers to create their accounts and generate a login id to access the customer dashboard.

The customer needs to fill in all the details in the form shown below and once he clicks on the sign-up form, his customer id is created. After that, the customer can easily log in to the customer dashboard by entering the username and password on the Login Page.

Customer Login Page

This page allows the customers to log in to their account and access the customer dashboard. All they need to do is enter their username and password and click on the “Sign in” button.

Customer Dashboard

The customer dashboard provides the customers with an insight into their activities on your eCommerce store.

Here’s how the customer dashboard looks once you make the necessary edits and customization.

Hereinbelow is the brief explanation of every option available to the customers on the dashboard-

(a) INFORMATION

Here, the customers can see their name and email address as shown in the screenshot above.

(b) ORDERS

The customers can view their orders in this tab. The dashboard shows the current and pending orders along with tracking details. Additionally, the customers can view their old orders through the search section.


(c) DOWNLOADS

This tab has a list of items containing media files and other information that the customers can download. The tab is generally helpful in sending the customers digital downloadable products once they purchase something from your store.


(d) RESET PASSWORD
In case, the customer wants to change the password, the “Reset Password” tab allows him to do it.

The customer simply has to enter the current password and new password, and then click on the Reset Password button.


(e) LOGOUT

If you want to close your customer dashboard, you can click on the logout button. It will redirect you to the login page.
