Split test or A/B testing as it is more commonly known, is a popular strategy used by marketers to make decisions about their campaigns and product prices. Kwikcart offers an easy option to create and run split tests to help you out of confusion about your product prices, landing page designs, and sales funnels.
This article will help you understand how to create and run split tests on Kwikcart. So, let’s get started.

There are two different methods to perform split test on Kwikcart. Let’s understand the steps one after the other-
Method 1 - Split Test Based on Percentage
1. Go to the Split Test option on the dashboard and then click on the “Create Split Test” option.
2. You’ll be directed to a page where you can design your entire split test by simply filling out a form. Firstly, select the split level from the options available, as to whether you want to create the test for a page or a funnel.
3. Next, give a name to your split test and select the split type as “Percentage.”

5. After this, add the number of splits by clicking on the “Add Splits” option and fill in the further details for the split test in the form appearing below after you select the number of splits. You’ll have to fill in details like device type, operating system, browser, country, and traffic source.
6. Once done, simply click on the “Create Split Test” button. The test will be created and the traffic generated on the URL will be routed to the selected pages.
Method 2 - Split Test Based on Device and Location
The steps for this are very similar to creating a split test based on percentage.
1. The first two steps will be exactly the same, that is you have to click on the “Create Split Test” option and choose the split level.
2. After this, enter the Split Name and select the split type as “Device and Location.”
3. Next, select a Domain name for the split test.

4. Now, you need to select a default page on which you want to perform the split test. Select the same from the drop-down list.
5. Select the number of splits that you want to add to the test by clicking the Add Split button. You’ll see a form for Split Test configuration on the same page. Fill in the necessary details in the form.
6. Finally, click on the Create Split Test button.
Note: The only difference between creating a split test on the basis of percentage or devices and location is that in the case of the percentage option, traffic will be routed based on the percentage you’ve selected. However, in the case of the device and location option, the user will be routed to the default page only if the traffic doesn’t match the conditions you’ve specified.
Once you’ve created and run your Split Tests, you can see the reports for analyzation and decision making by going to the “All Splits” option that has a list of all the split tests you’ve created on your Kwikcart account.
