Apps on Kwikcart-Order Tracking

Once your customers have placed their orders, it’s very important to track them to ensure successful delivery. The order tracking option also offers the customer peace of mind as they can constantly see where their parcel has reached and how soon they’ll get the same. 

So, an order tracking option becomes very important for your eCommerce store to send the order and shipment details to the customers via SMS or email. Well, you can set up this option on Kwikcart in a few simple steps using the Order Tracking app. Let’s see how.

How to Set Up Order Tracking on Kwikcart?

There are two different ways to set up and update order tracking on Kwikcart. Let’s go through them one after the other.

Method 1: Update Tracking Manually

In this method, you can go to the individual order details page and update the tracking manually. Here are the steps that you need to follow-

1. Go to the “Orders” section on the Dashboard and then click on the “All Orders” option from the drop-down menu.



2. You’ll be directed to a list of having all your orders. Click on the order number for which you want to update tracking.


3. You’ll be redirected to a page containing all the order details. On this page, click on the Update Tracking button, fill in the tracking details, and then click on the Save Changes.


That’s all. The tracking details will get updated. However, this process can be hectic. Thus, Kwikcart offers an in-built application to make the task easier. Let’s have a look at the same.

Method 2: Update Tracking by Using the “Order Tracking” App

The Order Tracking app is an in-built application on Kwikcart to help make the entire process of updating order tracking quick and easy. Here are the steps that you need to follow to set up the application on your eCommerce store.

1. Go to the Apps section on the Kwikcart dashboard.




2. You’ll be directed to a page showing all the Kwik Apps. On this page, find the “Order Tracking” app and click on the “Configure” button.

3. You’ll be directed to a page where you can update tracking details. Select the Order Number, enter the Tracking Number, Shipping Carrier, Tracking URL, and finally select the Order Status.


4. Alternatively, you can update tracking in bulk. For this, download the sample format for tracking, mention all the details in that format, and simply upload that file using the “Choose File” option as shown below.


5. Additionally, you need to update tracking in some payment gateways like PayPal so that they can remit the amount paid by the customer to your account. For this, go to the “PayPal Tracking” option and enter the “Client Id” for tracking. You’ll also find the instructions in this option to set up PayPal Tracking.


6. Once done, click on the “Save Changes” button.


That’s all. The customers will receive the order tracking details through SMS and emails. Additionally, the details will get updated on PayPal automatically.
