What are “Quantity Options' ' on Kwikcart?

When you add a product to your eCommerce store for creating your product library, you might want to add discounts on them. Now, there are multiple ways to add offers and discounts.

One great way could be offering discounts based on the product quantity, especially when you’re into bulk selling and your product is such that people might want to purchase it in more quantities, for instance, food items like chips, tea, coffee, etc.

The Quantity Options enable you to add such discounts to your products. You can choose the quantity of the products to be purchased and the discounts associated with the same by using this option.

Now that you’re aware of the option let’s have a look at how to use the same when adding products to the product library.

Steps to Use the Quantity Options When Adding Products

Using the quantity options when adding products to your product library is no rocket science. You can do it in just a few simple steps explained hereinbelow-

1. On your Kwikcart admin panel, go to the “Products” option and then click on the “Add Products” appearing in the drop-down menu.

2. In the “Create Product” page, add your product info, including the product name, description, and price.

3. Once you’ve added the product info, click on the “Quantity options” tab.

4. In the next tab, enable the Quantity options by switching the button next to the text. Also, select the most popular one from the three options that you will be adding.

5. Next, add the three options one after the other. You’ll need to add the text for the discount offer, the quantity for which the discount is available, and the discounted price.

Note that among the three options, Option 1 will be auto-filled with Quantity as 1 and price for a single unit of the product. You can mention quantity and discounted price for Option 2 and Option 3.

6. Finally, click on the “Publish Product” button in the top right corner.

That’s all; you’re done! You’ll be able to see the quantity options and discounts on the checkout page. Here’s how the Checkout Page will look-

Here, as you can see, “Option 2” is highlighted in yellow color showing as the Most Popular option like we selected in the previous steps.
