Steps to Add a Product Category on Kwikcart

The entire process requires just a few quick and easy steps explained hereinbelow:

1. Go to the “Products” section and click on the “Product Categories” option in the drop-down menu.

2. On the next page, mention the following details-

1. Name: Enter the product category name/title in this box.

2. Slug: A slug is used for the URL. It contains only lower case alphabets, numbers, and hyphens, and helps with SEO purposes. So, add a slug for the product category to appear in the URL.

3. Parent Category: Choose the Parent Category for the product from the list of options. (optional)

3. Finally, click on the “Add new category” button.

That’s all! You can see the list of all the categories that you have added, just as shown in the image below.
